Brian Danzy, a Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter hailing from Chicago's southeast side, embodies a musical journey steeped in jazz and R&B influences. His passion for music took root at the age of 8, nurtured by the rich tapestry of sounds within the church and his grandmother's piano on the lower southwest side of Chicago. Brian's musical odyssey began in choirs, where he showcased his vocal prowess, performing for notable figures like Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson. His transition to instrumental performance during his junior year of high school marked a pivotal moment, eventually leading him to become a skilled guitarist. A proud alumnus of Columbia College Chicago, Brian has graced numerous stages in the Chicagoland area, leaving an indelible mark on the local music scene. His performances include notable appearances at the Manifest Arts Festival, Biggest Mouth Battle of the Bands, and the iconic House of Blues. With a dynamic blend of soulful vocals, masterful guitar skills, and compelling songwriting, Brian Danzy continues to captivate audiences with his unique musical expression.
