Hello! I wanted to officially introduce myself as a woman-owned small business in St. Charles County called The Purple Frog Pop-up Hippie Shop. I opened my shop so the community would have a unique place to buy pipes, accessories, and other related items. I also have a dream of bringing local artists together in one place to show the community the unique talent they have in their area. It’s been a dream of mine since I lived in the Netherlands and would go to Amsterdam every weekend to the coffee shops. I’m half Dutch, so it’s in my blood for marijuana to be the norm. I also want to see that happen here in Missouri. Unfortunately, I had to shut my brick-and-mortar down due to no customer traffic in the area, so now I will host pop-up shops at events or private parties. I’m finding out it’s very challenging as a woman in this industry, but I’m not giving up. We have come too far to let that happen! By merging my passions for networking, photography, graphic design, marketing, and social media, I’m determined to break down the barriers surrounding marijuana use and eliminate the negative associations. Cigarettes should be a thing of the past – it’s time for something natural and beneficial to take center stage!
