Dr. Ifeanyi Nsofor is a public health physician, behavioral science researcher, and global health equity advocate with over two decades of experience in advancing health justice and policy. He holds a medical degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and a Master’s in Community Health from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, University of Liverpool. A prolific thought leader, Ifeanyi has authored over 140 published articles in outlets such as Project Syndicate, Al Jazeera, and NPR, shaping global discourse on health equity. He has led 30+ research projects across West Africa, including evaluating the African Union’s response to the Ebola outbreak. Recognized among the Top 100 Most Influential Africans in 2020, he is a two-time TEDx speaker, two-time MOTH storyteller, Senior New Voices Fellow at the Aspen Institute, and Senior Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity at George Washington University. Ifeanyi serves on the Global Fellows Advisory Board at the Atlantic Institute, Rhodes Trust, Oxford, advocating for transformative health leadership worldwide. Currently, he directs a pioneering social media and community pharmacy initiative that leverages behavioral insights to increase HPV vaccine uptake in Nigeria, demonstrating his commitment to innovative, equity-driven public health solutions.
